A Dark Dawn
Chaotic Good Elven Warlock from The Kingdom of Lor’Arethien
Weight: 93 lb.
Lórhir is the second born son of the Count of Rithen. As a second son, he is entitled to little or none of the land or wealth that his father now commands. Forsaken by the kingdom’s laws of inheritance, Lórhir sought to earn prestige and respect by joining the kingdom’s army. Early in his training his demonic heritage and powers began to show, causing his father to disown him. Due to the contempt with which inheritors of such power are seen in the kingdom, Lórhir’s many applications to special units were flatly rejected. After many such applications Lórhir was approached by an organization he had never heard of, and recruited into it, almost against his will. Lórhir is deep down a kind heart and free soul. However, he has been jaded by the many rejections and the contempt and disdain he has faced due to his heritage. Lórhir is a lieutenant in the kingdom’s army.
Lórhir is a warlock. Although not quite as versatile as a wizard or as powerful as a sorcerer, the warlock’s invocations add a level of complexity to Lórhir’s, and therefore the group’s, capabilities. Able to continuously unleash the power of his eldritch blast, Lórhir is a powerful and dependable presence in any long or drawn out confrontation.
Lórhir has access to a few feats and abilities beyond what a character of his level would normally have. Some of these abilities have a drawback or some strings attached, but the specifics will not be revealed until a player finalizes his or her choice to play Lórhir:
- Herioc Resistance
- Craft Woundrous Item
- Devil’s Lucl
- Demon’s Embrace
- Regional Bonuses—Loria
